A Small Idea, A Meaningful Achievement
Sometimes, a meaningful achievement begins with a simple idea. For me, that idea was Smart Home Energy Saver, a project designed around the belief that technology should not only be smart, but also practical, responsible, and useful in everyday life.
The project focused on one real problem: how households can manage energy more efficiently. In a world where energy use is increasing and sustainability has become more important than ever, I wanted to explore how a smart system could help people reduce unnecessary electricity consumption. The goal was not only to create a technical solution, but to think about how innovation can support better habits, lower costs, and a more sustainable lifestyle.
Working on this project gave me the chance to combine creativity, teamwork, and technical thinking. Every stage required planning, problem-solving, and clear communication. From shaping the concept to presenting the final idea, the journey helped me understand that innovation is not only about building something new. It is also about identifying a real need and creating a solution that people can understand and use.
Receiving the Certificate of Honor from the School of International Education, Zhengzhou University, for participation in the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2025 was a proud moment. The certificate recognised the project’s innovative thinking, teamwork spirit, and proactive attitude.
